People seem to have been asking for the purpose of coins a lot, so let me enlighten you! First of all, to see if you have any coins (and how many of them), hit the navbar on top of every page, then select 'Account' > 'Your Items' in the dropdown. Coins are categorized as Magic items, so that's the tab you wanna go to.

Although all these coins have been retired from their origin events, they have have been made available again through other means. Currently they are available at Alice's Trading Outpost for 20 tokens each.

All images below are clickable for direct access (and your viewing pleasure), but I believe you will get an error if you own 0 of the coin you're clicking on.

Traptor coins

Chocolate Coin - Smoothie ingredient for the Candy Corn, Licorice, Marshmallow and Triple Chocolate Bat Traptors. Previously available from Halloween 2018 Trick or Treat Bags.

smoothie_dawn.pngsmoothie_dusk.pngsmoothie_seafoam.pngsmoothie_spring.png
Lucky Coin (Traptop) - Smoothie ingredient for the Dawn, Dusk, Seafoam and Spring Traptors. Previously available during the June 2018 Fortune Cookie event.

Traptop coins are not actively used up. Instead, you need to head on over to Traptop's Smoothie Shop, and from there check out her Smoothie Mixer feature. You'll need 1 of the respective coin per smoothie you mix, and the item is consumed upon smoothie creation.

Buff Coins

Lucky Coin (Timekeeper) - "This item can be turned in to claim 50 Timekeeper's Blessing Buffs"
Using this coin will double your yellow_small.gifYBC earnings during the next 50 clicks. Previously available during the June 2018 Fortune Cookie event.
coin_spacekeeper.png
Lucky Coin (Spacekeeper) - "This item can be turned in to claim 250 Spacekeeper's Blessing Buffs"
Using this coin will double your red_small.gifRBC earnings during the next 250 clicks. Previously available during the June 2018 Fortune Cookie event.

These coins allow you to harness the powers of the two Keeper brothers without needing to own/use the adopts. In order to reap the benefits of these buffs, you need to make clicks in the Click Exchange. To check if you have either buff active and how many uses remain, look for the blessings on the Your Buffs page. (Also accessible via the Navbar under 'Your Account'.)

Recolour Coins

coin_korith.png
Lucky Coin (Korith) - "Using this lucky coin will change the color of one adoptable of your choosing! (Item will be destroyed)"
Using this coin will colour any adoptable you so choose with the ghostly blue modifier first released during the November 2017 Halloween event. Item version of this modifier previously available during the June 2018 Fortune Cookie event.
coin_heart.png
Lucky Coin (Heart) - "Using this lucky coin will change the color of one adoptable of your choosing! (Item will be destroyed)"
Using this coin will colour any adoptable you so choose with the pink-red modifier first released during the February 2018 Valentines event. Item version of this modifier previously available during the June 2018 Fortune Cookie event.

As these coins are meant to recolour a single adopt, you have to choose the adoptable you wish to recolour via the Adoptable Picker shown on the respective item's page. Below is a sample comparison of regular, Ghost, and Valentines colours. Both coins work on animated and medalled adoptables. Please note that if an adoptable with a medal is recoloured, it will keep the medal.

I'll add a note that you need 28 of the Chocolate Coin and Lucky Coin (Traptop) items to make enough smoothies to complete the Traptor legions. Each smoothie uses one coin, and there are 4 legions with 7 adopts each.

This is super helpful, thank you!! :)

I believe the ghost and Valentines recolors will make the number medals and 2nd edition medals disappear.

Love,
Salvete
