Alice has returned to the Carnival, and thankfully she hasn't kidnapped anyone this time! She's here asking for our help. It seems she's thinking of an expedition back to Northlight, but that sort of journey is expensive. She's willing to take literally any items or adoptables off your hands in exchange for Alice Tokens, which you can spend on special coins and exclusive Chimeleon Adoptabits!

There are 144 Chimeleon Adoptabits available from Alice. She's helpfully given you three choices to buy them, with more expensive options giving a higher chance of one you need for your collection! Don't worry if you can't afford to get all 144 right now though, Alice is quite the explorer and we're sure she'll be back in the future to clean up all your items and adoptables again!

Alice is also in need of black bottlecaps to buy supplies for her travels. She's saved some special Dark Rainbow and Light Rainbow adoptabits which she is selling in the Cash Shop. Each day of the event, two more will be revealed. Check back every day to see if your favourite has been added!

Finally, to top it all off, Clickstravaganza has returned! Every user has been given 10,000 Clickstravaganza tokens which you can use any time over the course of this event. Once you've used them up your slots will return to normal. Additionally, you will receive one Alice Token for every 50 clicks!

Alice will be here until the end of February 9th. You can obtain and spend tokens until then, and you can use your Clickstravaganza tokens any day until then. Happy clicking!

This type of click event is just so much better, as you can freely decide when you spend your time on it instead of being obliged to have some time available on a certain day or during certain hours. As Quetzal already perfectly described it in her initial comment: It isn't always possible to be able to be online at a certain time - people might rather spend their weekend with their friends or family or have other duties, but have enough time to participate in the event during weekdays or vice versa...

People who can do more than their 10,000 event clicks still benefit from this event by earning additional Alice tokens for every 50 clicks (I assume?) and also be able to collect more rewards as they will have more adoptables or items ready for exchanging.

Having the event designed like this, it really eliminates the so called "fear of missing out". :)

I appreciate this type of event for sure. I don't have the time to click how I once did (or tried to lol), so this lets me gear up and grind some levels when I can. That being said, I definitely hope this type of casual event comes into play more int he future, but with a dose of events that still allow people to go crazy...like the pink adopts last year. A good mix of the two would be fantastic, but I definitely hope to see this type of event more. Good work!

While I love any kind of click event, I really like to see it hosted different this time

Even when you know that a click event is coming and prepare yourself to click a lot... life can happen or you simply do not feel well enough to spent hours in front of you computer. So, the way this is hosted... I really like it!

Yes, I would like being able to have more than 10k clicks, but as I hardly do that much within a single day and I really need to force myself to hit that much (or more) and... don't ask about how my condition is after a few hours... I prefer this. I can click in my own speed. Don't have this preassue sitting in my neck telling me "You must click! Else you miss out!"

This way, I can say my health comes first and I do not mess up my sleep schedule over an event where I know it won't be good for me to be here for 12 hours or more

It gives so many more users a chance to take part in this great event!
Many love Click Events. Just see the GDoC!

The responses on there are always good and totally understandable, too xD

I also would say they are one of my favorite CC events as even if you do not get lucky to win something rare - your BC count will grow. It also gives many a motiavtion to click older eggs. Some save those escpecially for click events as they give them a reason to work on them

For short - lovely idea! Thanks a lot for this! I like how it gives so many more a chance to click and take part in this awesome event (:

Thank you for spreading the event over multiple days! This weekend has been very busy so this is much less stressful! :)

I really like this casual Clickstravaganza! I am very much enjoying being able to participate at my own pace, when I have free time. :D

I really love this Clickstravaganza idea! It allows everyone a fair opportunity to pursue if they so chose and as Steen said, hardcore users usually dominate in events like these and this way, it's much more equal. I like the laid back idea of this and it seems fairer to me than other clickstravaganzas in the past! It also allows for users to do the event at their own pace/convenience and prevents them from having to be burnt out or miss the event entirely!

I love the idea of 10,000 Clickstravaganze clicks! (Though a counter somewhere might be nice so we can see how close we are to using them up.) This gives everyone a chance to benefit. Not everyone has weekends free (or, in my case, my health follows no scheduals and tanks whenever it very well pleases). Oh, and I love those Adoptabits! :D

Aaand one more post. Since people have been inquiring lots about what the coins do etc, I've posted a guide in the User Guides section. It will be a help page eventually, but for now, please use the thread for feedback and/or additonal coin-related questions. <3

Ahhh thank you for the clarification, it's very much appreciated. I do think a more casual approach to some events would work well for sure, there are definitely events on the opposite end of that so having events like these are a good way to cool off. Thanks for addressing all my concerns!

No worries Blank. This event is a very casual one in essence. For example, we don't expect people to complete the chimeleon sets this round. This is why she returns every so often.

We will look at the data once the event ends and see where we go from there. This type of Clickstravganza is not permanent, we just wanted to try something new and cater to a more casual player this time. :)

Your suggestions are always welcome. We would like feedback from tons of people on this style of event, so please, let us know what works for you, what doesn't, etc.

I do like the tokens for that purpose certainly, I know the hardcore clickers don't make up the majority of the site so it doesn't make sense to cater to them. But I think a compromise would work better where perhaps instead of the usual few days, sometimes 2-3 in past experiences, it could instead be shortened to 1-2 days, preferably the weekend as that makes the most sense, and then also have tokens that'll be used during a more extended period.

I definitely agree with the notion of 10+ days being complete overkill, there should never be a Clickstravaganza running for that long at all. I do acknowledge that it's definitely worth trying something new out and seeing how it goes. So only time will tell what works best, but I do hope a compromise is tested in the future. Thank you for the quick response Steen!

Blank, what you mentioned justified my decision to do it this way in the first place. Some of us can't just dump hours into an event. Clickstravaganza is a very overpowered event, where hardcore, 10,000+ day clickers benefit the most.

We're going to try a more casual approach to this one. Rather than making Clickstravaganza a day, where some users miss out, we have stretched it to the duration of the event so that users don't have to feel obligated to sit and click all day. But we can't making clickstravaganza last for 10+ days either because that would be overkill.

Imagine missing out on something because you either had to go to work, school, study, etc. It's a pretty crappy feeling when you can't do something because "life got in the way." I've missed out on plenty of things because of my schedule, and I'm sure other people can relate.

And rubeusbeaky, you are welcome! We had suggestions for people to remove fossils, etc so we thought this would help.

This was exactly my idea, a couple of months ago: A way to clear your inventory of retired items by turning them in for some kind of currency :O! I was bullied out of the CB for my idea, I was told it wasn't economical :'( I'm glad to see it working just fine <3. Thank you for the opportunity.

I like the idea of Clickstravaganza tokens for users that simply can't dump several hours into the site over the course of a few days, which is the usual length of click events. But as someone who does enjoy clicking a lot, I do wish it'd at least recent every night if the purpose is to keep people from going overboard. Apologies if I do sound ungrateful, I'm just cautious about what this may mean for future Clickstravaganzas. Thank you for the event nonetheless, the Chimeleon Adoptabits are rather cute.
