I think it depends: I like to start the notes like a "normal" nonogram and play as long as possible without looking at the alphabet. I don't know if this is very feasible with the big ones? Since it is in the nature of the Alphabet to consist of rather small block-groups (correct me if I'm wrong) one has to consult with the letters relatively quickly in a big puzzle - or am I mistaken?
Either way, I'm looking forward to the next one! :)
