Help Guide - Games: Lost
This part of the site is for the explorer in all of us - Lost! If this is your first time visiting, or if you just finished a maze, be prepared to explore a randomly generated map with only a single path of escape!
Once you step inside, you'll find yourself in the top-left corner of the map. Your goal is to get to the exit, located at the bottom-right.
The dropdown menu will tell you all of the possible steps you can take. Selecting a direction will move you that way and give you a new set of directions to take.
The amount of steps you can take increases by +10 each day you visit, until you clear the maze. This means you'll have 10 steps on Day 1, 20 steps on Day 2, etc.
This is what the map will look like for you without Premium enabled:
If you set foot in a part of the map before, you'll notice some extra text about the room you're in looking familiar. Make sure you write the steps you've taken, or you may end up down there for longer than you like...
This is what the map will look like for you with Premium enabled:
Premium members will have their maps automatically drawn out for them. If your Premium account is about to expire, renew it or write down your map!
You'll likely spend about three days, or more (if you get truly lost) on your map. So what is the reward for rummaging through the tunnels until you find the end?
When you manage to escape, you'll have found the treasure. How long it took you to leave does not affect the prize you receive. Depending on how lucky you are, you'll be awarded 10 Black Bottlecaps, a Blue Bottlecap, or a Golden Egg, the latter of which is aptly named "I escaped!" so you'll always remember where you found it!.
No maze exploration would be complete without some achievements! For the game of Lost, there are currently 4: Escaped!, Explorer, Path Finder and Pathloser. If you're wondering what it takes to unlock one, look no further than the Achievement Guide page.
